It certainly has been a crazy roller coaster of training for this Dopey Challenge that I signed myself up for...but I'm getting through it.  I'm determined to make it to that finish line of the 48.6 miles and still be standing.  The time change has been difficult to get running in before it gets dark and with my work schedule and I don't really like to run in the dark by myself so I am lucky enough to work from home and be able to split my work day in two so that I can get my run in before it gets dark!  I'm about to head out for 8 miles and it's super windy today!  Let's hope I don't get knocked around on the trail!  More later...

Welcome! The Road Ahead...

So this is definitely my work in progress, but I wanted to document my Road to the Dopey Challenge and even beyond!  I've never really written a blog before and I'm really not sure who will even be interested in reading but I sure hope whoever does enjoys all of my ramblings.
